Don was kind enough to fulfill my special request for a couple of standard tails without the two holes for the lanyard and tripod. I really like this version. Here is a photo. Sorry about the lack of clarity on the photo...

This is one beautiful light.........the "bare" Alephs are my favorites. I have a "Chop" Aleph1 modified, "bare" and hope to have more! I too, prefer them without clips or lanyard holes.
The new FT tailcap is nice, for this reason!

jeffb, glad to know I'm not the only one prefering them without clips and holes. I KNEW I wasn't the only one preferring bare AL. Yep, this is one of my two all-time favorite lights. The other is the same light with a 2x123 body. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
