Hi there.
I am looking at your thread where you are talking about the same light with a direct drive. How does output compare with high mode of the 5 level light? is photo in sales thread same as one in direct drive thread?

The high mode is the same because the driver is PWM Direct Drive and yes it is the same light with a the different driver and I trimmed down the reflector to get a little tighter of a spot and added the glow ring to the bezel.

what are the three drive levels in ma?
after turning it off does it start over the modes or pick back up where it left off?

Just wonderding, are you using the 5 mode sku #6190 driver from DX? How do you find the low mode on that?

I'm experimenting with the 16 mode sku #7612 driver and think the levels are good but I'm not a huge fan of having 3 mode groups (the 3 mode low-med-high is great tho!).

not a DX driver its KD and the low is I'd say maybe 30-40 lumens, given it's a four die emitter pretty low

Scout24 PM'ed first with "I'll take it" before everyone else. So I have to go with him. I won't be getting anymore parts until March but if anyone is interested for one then let me know and I can get you one.

technically i was first with my how many ma post cause i wanted it but just wanted to make sure wasnt 1A on high. i mean we got single dies taking that much power.

oh well, get me one in march i guess. maybe i can be a backup sale. i am in u.s. so nice easy transaction.

It doesn't work that way. You must say the magic words "I'll take it" which can either be conditional or unconditional. On its face your post is only an inquiry.

i know and you're right. i was only half serious in the first half but felt i cleared it up in the second half.

we need more of these lights!!! start cranking some out, somebody. any circuit is fine, give us sgt burketts with mce's or p7s with nice beautiful beam!!
