I just can't believe that I had the chance and was even able to finally own my grail light. I'm going to take a late night walk with it now and see what it could do - I've been waiting all day for this!

Thanks, Ben! I initially opted for neutral, but ended up getting the cool emitter after Data shared his opinion with me. I just did a late night walk with it to test its features and needless to say, it's a true gem! I didn't even use 16340's yet, so I'm really excited to see how much light the Tri-V2 can pump out :devil: after I figure out how to program it, that is!

Anyway, I like how the cool & warm emitters go together. It's really bizarre to have both at the same time, but there's just something right about it.
 
Yup. The cool and the warm does take a bit of getting used to. Until this, I didn't realize how far the aspheric is throwing the beam.
Loved the new lockout feature.
Dave has got a YouTube video on how to program the different levels. I used that to learn.

Yeah, the aspheric is fun - I had a Surefire C2 with a DEFT-EDC LE installed by Saabluster, and had to let it go. Now I have an aspheric back in my stable! I'll check up on those videos soon, thanks!

Perhaps he got burnt out doing it? Kinda like I did with the double agent club. 😀
