Help Support CPF:

Data, I sent you an email yesterday with my info, and requesting a grand total so I can send Paypal. If I understand your original post correctly, insurance is not included in the $1995 amount, nor is it listed separately anywhere, so until you get back to me I don't know how much to send you.

oops, email inbound

Paypal sent.

I've seen a few pics of Spys with silver O-rings on their knobs. If you have any of these, it would be great if you could toss a pair in the box with my Tri-V so I can see if I like them better in-person.

I have never found silver ones. If you do find a source for them I would like to know too. I only have the black ones now but I used to have red ones, I will see if any are left.

Cheers
Dave

Same here. Should I just send Paypal?

The average cost of for the full insurance is $8.00, if you want full coverage just add that in. If I have already given you a quote for the insurance just disregard this message.

I have been trying to pass the hours waiting to mug the delivery person by watching not only the Tri-V videos that Dave has posted recarding programing and calibration etc., but those that were taken of the machining process for the 007 bodies, and the knob machining and polishing. Fascinating, as well as an insight into how much work goes into just the bodies! Unbelievable. Just one small aspect of these creations... Boggles the mind.😀

You only have to wait HOURS now till you receive yours. I must wait WEEKS, as I will be out of delivery areas for a long while.:sick2::sick2::sick2:
You know how rough it is going to be, at the lake, with limited cell coverage, getting the email that it was delivered to my office, and it's sitting there, in the box, in my IN BASKET, all alone.

From my prior posts, you may have notice I don't have a grasp on the "patience" ascpect yet.

Launch- I am hoping your 007's can hold you over... If taking delivery today were an option, I would have driven to Dave's, about two hours away... I am still sorta debating blowing off work tomorrow to say hi and thank you in person... I WANT PATIENCE AND I WANT IT NOW!!!😀 Right there with ya...

Hmmm, now you're talking, let me check if there are cheap flights from Bellingham to PA:shakehead:shakehead

They SPY's work great at the lake. Last time I was there, I was playing and thought the neighbouring cabin owners, two lots down, were away. I lit up their place and was shocked to see them come to the window to see what was lighting up their place😳

If I get a tracking number, and it looks like there is a slim chance Canada Post will get it here sooner, I might delay leaving on holidays by one day. LOL

Testing is going good but slow. At this point I will probably start shipping on Wednesday. I will keep you updated.

I had a good forth weekend except for the having to work part. lovecpf Hope you all did too. If you sent payment already, thanks. I plan to get the list posted showing what ships on what day.

One big issue is shipping addresses. Not shipping to PayPal addresses makes extra work for me. If I OKed shipping to a non PayPal approved address, please send me an extra email with your CPF ID stating that you changed your address from the one registered in PayPal. I do not want packages going to the wrong place.

Cheers
Dave

Data,
Thanks for the update. This may not be the best place to ask this, but it may help other buyers, and I did search extensively in your forum first...

I ordered the GPA adapter for my Tri-V, and I searched everywhere for information on the magnetic attachment you used on your Tri-V in quite a few of your pictures. Is that magnetic base for sale by you, or could you tell me who makes it so that I can Google it? TIA.

That attachment is wonderful. With a very small steel plate (mine is 1-1/8" x 2-1/2" x 1/8") you can set it on any horizontal surface and shine the light in any direction.
