I just got a stainless 3LED Matterhorn HP. It is (relatively) bulky with the keyring body, but very compact with a pocket body. It is not heavy with the smaller bodies - only 1 1/8 oz for the pocket stainless body and 2.8" long. It is about 1/4" longer overall with the lug body, and a similar light weight.

I took it outside last night when taking the dog to a nearby tree. The light is no powerhouse, and puts out less light than the ultrapower 3LED version. But the output is very useful and all that is needed to make sure that the pooch doesn't eat stuff that he shouldn't eat. It would do fine for a walk, if I wanted it for that. The output provides a somewhat wider beam the the ultrapower version, but that may just be because there is a less obvious difference between the "hotspot" and the spill. IT seems more floody.

The quality is very high, and the throw is better than the older CS version of the unmentionable competition. The stainless Matterhorn is a really nice light. It would be great on a keyring in lug form.

The stainless version feels heavier than it really is because of the size-weight illusion. Small items tend to feel heavier than they would feel if bulkier. A 1-1/8 oz light is not heavy at all.

They do make a stainless tube with a lug now. I have a stainless Matterhorn with a keychain tube because that's all that was available then, and I just hate the thing. OK, hate is too strong a word. It's very well made but it's unnecessarily large and for some reason I've always found the removable keychain post to be ugly looking. It would be MUCH better with a lug. I may or may not buy the lug tube for it.

I have the lug body for it as well. I just like the looks of the light with the pocket body.
If my ARC AAAP dies, one of my Matterhorns will go on my keyring....probably the stainless one.
