Stinger or 9n

What do you guys prefer the stinger or the 9n or current 9an? I bought the 9n years ago but in my current line of work it isnt as practicall as the stinger. I work as a graveyard mechanic and one thing I love about the stinger is the price difference and the fact that I can stand it up on end. Any oppinions?

Streamlight makes the best rechargables while Surefire's are problematic. Stick with the stinger.

Hi stew, I have 2 9AN's and I am not ready to toss them.
I do not own A stinger however I have read alot of posts here on CPF and from what I have gathered A Stinger is A great choice.

I can put my Stinger in the charger without removing the battery. Come home from work, drop it in. Take it out, go to work. No fumbling with baateries.

I have both a 9N and a PolyStinger. If I were you I would go with the Stinger. Don't get me wrong, I like my 9N a lot, but the Stinger is a very nice little(er) light. The price difference also makes them a more practical choice for some.
