Where do I get a stippled reflector for MagLite 3D?

It's for the Malkoff conversion.

MalkoffDevices (Gene) is out.

If you have an old junk M@g sitting around doing nothing, practice stippling first on that reflector. The first one it did was rough but by the third one I did I could get the effect I wanted.

I ordered one from Gene first, saw what it was, then proceeded to make my own. So if you ordered a couple, no problem, wait til the come in, study them, then go to the well vented garage and make your own version.

Just take your time and you will be fine. Amazing we can do this stuff ourselves....and unbelieveable the difference it can make with lighting capabilities of the flashlight.

Kaidomain has Aluminum MOP stipple for 14.99. I have one and they are very nice.

I got it. They are nice, and ultimately more useful than the stock pencil-ray reflector. Especially inside. For my application, I put the original back in for now but will be using the new one a lot. A very nice balance of spot/flood and a much nicer beam. You have to adjust it to get the it uniform and centered.

Re: Nice gifts

Ive heard that you can spray hairspray onto the stock plastic mag reflector to make it a stipple or a MOP depending on how much you spray

The good thing about the hairspray is that it washes off with water!!!
