Just wondering if anyone here knows the voltage and current limits of the stock 2D and 4D Mag switch?

What is the max current and voltage?

How high (current and/or voltage) has anyone here have run their stock Mag?

Has anyone here actually melted their stock Mag switch or any other part of a stock Mag in a hot wiring incident?

What are the symptoms of a melting stock Mag switch/Mag part?

Thanks.

I have M@g 623 with 15.6v pack using standar switch, no problem other than the switch contact became black and dirty because of the arching. No melting either since i am using Kiu's socket. 10A is somewhat borderline for Magswitch i think but you should be okay but changing the switch is better.

Voltage wouldn't be a problem for the switch it'd be the current. The handles up to 4A easy from about <10A you'll need to do some modding to the switch to lower the resistance. Above 10A even with modding it'll bottleneck your light and might possibly fail.
