Streamlight 3C 10 LED - I\'m 99.9% happy

In brightness, shamed only by the LGI itself (at least in terms of the LED jobs in my inventory), useful battery life to eventually outshine and outendure the Luxeons, and well, well, well - it has that hazardous atmosphere rating from UL that I like. Not too big to live day-to-day in the shoulder bag/portable office, either. Still, I might have to add the 4AA 7 LED to the menagerie.

Have you tried it with rechargeables? I have many C sized NiMh cells left over from many baby toys that my daughter has outgrown in the last year that are just begging to go into a flashlight and this one is towards the top of my list.

The 3C version has a momentary tail switch and "turn the bezel" for constant on right?
