Streamlight Stinger and Strion Chargers ?

Will I be able to use my SL Stinger CHARGER with the new SL Strion flashlight, or does the Strion need a different charging system?

The AC transformer and the DC charging parts or the same. The cradle that you clamp the strion in is different (to fit the strion). The cradle is all you need.

Different battery chemistries. Strion is Li-Ion which would be a huge difference between the Stinger...

The transformer might be the same though. It just supplies 12ish volts to the actual charger. It's the same DC (car) charging cord, so I would assume that the AC transformer is probably the same or similar. The output current might be different even if the voltage is the same.

The AC transformers that came with my stinger, ultra-stinger and strion are identical. I presume that the 12 volt DC is identical also, and has worked flawlessly now for several months.
