Streamlight Trident

Anyone had an opportunity to try out the Streamlight Trident - 3 LED + Krypton bulb, 3 different brightness levels (1 LED, 3 LEDs, Krypton)? Looks interesting & is fairly inexpensive ($20.95 from brightguy).

Any info would be appreciated.

Streamlight OEM Trident from someone else. I have one of these but Streamlight has improved its headband which was the weakest part of the original design.

The krypton is very yellow that I can't stand it and I simply replaced it with another LED. For its LED, it's pretty bright even with one single LED. Some might consider it too big of a 3-LED headlamp.

However, Streamlight will have 7-LED version of this lamp without the useless krypton soon.

Lastly, the lamp is solidly built and a lot better than tikka.
