ive been torn between the GS-GG and the MT-SS GG for weeks and weeks now. im only getting one so the standard CPF answer doesnt apply :p anyone have any comments on either of these?

the GS just has sweet lines, but the MT-SS seems more flexible with the serrations. this is for my "bada$$ hardcore fighting knife" that i will keep by my bed  kinda leaning towards the GS...

halp!

Not a fan of Mick Strider's personal history (armed carjacking) or his knives. I'd personally look for a dagger if it stays at home. From things I've read, saw teeth or serrations aren't a desirable feature in a weapon.

My suggestion? Ek Commando knives, double edge model. You'll save money and it goes to a more worthy company. http://www.ekknife.com/index.html

Just an opinion.

personally dont really care about the strider drama, but i do love my SnG. it will mostly stay at home but i would like to be able to take it out when camping etc. i have looked at quite a few double bladed daggers, but not a lot really grab me. those EKs look nice but im not really a brass guy, not tacticool enough for me :p

yeah, i guess i dont really need the saw teeth.

thanks for the comments, much appreciated! would love to hear more and from others that have either of these 2 models or other fixed blade striders.

was thinking of a huge mercworx too but not really the same class...

Easy choice. MT-SS GG for its swedge. Hopefully, it is a sharpened swedge. But I will take a Swamp Rat Mini-Mojo over those Striders as a bedside HD blade anyday, anytime.
