Stripping a Q3, any secrets?

Just got my Q3.Great little light but I want to add a glass lense and centralise the emitter.
Any tips on stripping it before I break it? Is it loctited?

Yeah, it's sealed up. A heat gun or boil will be of great help. .

I boiled mine off. Boil some water, remove battery, throw light in a ziplock bag, submerge for a couple of minutes and twist off head.

Once the water boils you can remove it from the stove. Nothing worse than melted baggy on the side of your pot.

Is it threaded or just glued on? If it's just glued on,how did you re-fix the head,what glue type?

You could re-loctite it together
