Forgive a newbies ignorance, I tried searching for this info but, I'm still lost. Does someone make a tailcap that will strobe a Surefire M4? I noticed That G&P makes one that fits the 6P. Are the 6P and M4 tailcaps interchangeable? I realize the colors won't match. Great site and thanks for any help.

M4 in an incandescent light, incandescent lights do not strobe well.

Also the current draw would be an issue, as would warm up time for each flash. I'm not sure it would be a success.

As nzgunnie pointed out, strobing and incans is not a good mix. yes the G&P would probably fit and work on there with the MN60, but probably not for long, with the MN61 it would probably burn out the tailcap in short order.

If you are really serious about a strobe option on a light of similar size to the M4, get a LumaPower MVP.

O.K that makes sense, but say I picked up a KL6 65 lumen led conversion. Do you think that would work with a strobe tailcap? Thanks nzgunnie for your wisdom and quick reply. Dang you guys are quick, thanks for your input Eric I will check out the LumaPower MVP.

Overall, I haven't heard to many good things about the G&P stobe tailcap, I don't think i would mess with it personally.
