Anyone know which of these would throw further?

The MRV may put out more lumens. The unmodded Stryker (which I have) does a pretty good job at 75 yards, the stock MRV clearly throws farther. I don't want both, but I want one of these. I really like the variable output of the Stryker.

The MRV outthrows anything other than some custom mod or an HID. Played with one a month back... 400' to 500' throw is probably about right.

THE MRV throws farther than Stryker mod - it is amazing. The Stryker Mod has a somewhat larger hotspot, with a smoother edge. But the Stryker has very little spill light (due to the optic) whereas the MRV has a lot of spill (although it's somewhat hard to use because when you aim the MRV down to let the spill light contact the ground near you, the hotspot hits the ground too and it may impair your night vision). MRV is brighter overall. I'm waiting for my MRV OP reflector with hopes it will tame that solar flare hotspot a bit.

Have you tried this one...
ASP Triad II
It will not throw as far, however, the beam of the 3 Cree led's is much more usefull IMO.
It is like a mini milky M375 at 25% the cost

After using the ASP, MRV, Stryker mod, Milky 375, etc.
the ASP, at least to me, is the most usefull as well as smaller in size (about the size of a SF 6P!!

The ASP has a great balance of throw and flood using 3 Cree's.
After I get the OP reflector for the MRV I may like it better for my purposes.

There is a lengthy post about it somewhere on the forum...
