Just got my E2 today, seemed to be shrink-wrapped and packed like it should be, SureFire tag and all. Problem is, the manual says I should have 2 bulbs, I can only find one. Did I get ripped off? Wanna check before I accuse the vendor of stealing my lamp. Those things are expensive!!!!

I'm not certain, but I think the other lamp module isn't ready yet. In the case of the M4, the MN60 is not ready, but the MN61 is.

Please, We need Tim or other E2 owners to clarify this!

Yup, the E2 is suppose to come with a MN02 and an MN03, high brightness lamp and long run lamp (at least that is what it says in the manual). There isn't a long run lamp in the box. I wonder if Surefire is going to give them to those of us that purchased them now? I just got my second E2 from Tim and thats the way it came.

I think it has been pretty well established that the low output bulb has not been included with anyone's E2. I am pretty sure in fact that the low output bulb has not even been manufactured yet.

Looks like SureFire was a little too optimistic about their progress when they were writing the manual

BTW, I highly doubt that SureFire makes good to us for the lamp that we are "owed", but I would sure love it if they did

The instructions are incorrect. All that is supposed to be with the E2 is the MN03 (that's the correct designation for the 60lu, 75 minute lamp). The MN02 was talked about as a long running low-power option but has not been produced. My guess, and this is pure supposition, is that the person typing up the instructions/part guide was copying and editing one of the other light's instructions and forgot to edit correctly and left in the idea of two lamp assemblies, relying on what they heard in the staff meeting. That;s uncorroborated pure speculation, but I do know they had no intention of providing two lamps from the start. The MN02 was going to be an option like the P61 for the 6P.

Another tidbit on some (only some) of the instructions/part sheets- some of them had the kit contests listed as:
1. E1 Flashlight [OOPS!]
2. DL123A (2)
3. User's Manual

Perhaps everyone with E2's should send a nice polite Email to SureFire, asking them where their second bulb is? After all, the manual says there are supposed to be 2. Hey, I don't know, I looked and looked and can't find my second bulb in the box?

I already sent my Email, wonder what they're gonna say?
