Hi guys !!!

I´m going hunting on feb 02 and want to get a good lamp for far away game at night, I currently have a SF E2, Scorpion, eternalight with lithium batteries, photon,pal-light, wave etc.

But what I´m looking for is a long range spoting light for far shots, I know that the E2 can reach at about 50 Yards or more but I want something for long shots about 100 - 200 yards or more, with lots of run time since we could go as far as 8 hours in truck or by foot for the hunt, any suggestions?

Looking at the bright-guy site I read several that may fit the bill these are the following:

150,000 Cp responder http://www.brightguy.com/detail_int.tpl?cart=100804402937696&sku=KOE19540

The lightbox http://www.brightguy.com/detail_int.tpl?cart=100804402937696&sku=STR45117

The vulcan 50,000 CP http://www.brightguy.com/detail_int.tpl?cart=100804431037917&sku=STR44000

The light cannon ( Over the budget here, non recheargable) http://www.brightguy.com/detail_int.tpl?cart=100804431037917&sku=UND44601

Are there other bright recheargables that I would need to consider? Have you tried any of this or other flashlights? any thoughts?

Thnx
Alex

By reading about the lanterns you mentioned I've gathered some thoughts.

-The Responer's beam angle must be incredibly narrow since it can produce 150.000 CP using a 10W bulb. The Litebox in spot mode achieves 75.000 with a bulb that is double as powerful (20W). So, if you go for the responder i would sure buy the flood-filter as well.
-The LightCannon is probably the brightest. 10W HID should equal at least 25W Halogen. The 6 degree beam angle is good, not too narrow and not too wide, and you can add flood-filters anyway. The problem is the run time though...and you should consider using NiCd batterypack instead of alkalines.

btw...I have heard that the Responder's beam quality is sub par.
