Hello,
I am looking for suggestions for a single CR123 EDC light that also takes 3.7V RCR123 cells. In addition I'm looking for a light that has a 180-200 OTF lumen minimum with at least 3 brightness modes and with at least 1 hour run-time on high also type III anodizing, glass lens is preferred.I would also like a belt clip that is in or can be configured for a "head down" position.I would like the light to be in the $50 USD to $70 USD range.
Does a light like this exist? I have found a few lights that fit the above but lack "head down" and 3.7V RCR123 compatibility.I would be willing to up my price range to $120 USD if the light has all of the above and there are no cheaper options.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Closest I can think of is the Zebralight SC31, although on RCR it won't give you an hour on high, but I'm sure the lower modes will be bright enough and those will give you over an hour.

All 4Sevens Quarks 123 can cover your demand - my favorite (and within the specs you give) is the Quark 123 Tactical.

205 OTF lumens, glass lens, with holster and lanyard

I thought the Quark 123 clip is head up instead of head down like the OP wants. Is it reversible? I don't own one so I don't know.

+1 for the ZL SC31. Backordered mine, is on its way now. The other option in my list that suits your needs would be the nitecore ex11.2. Dunno about runtimes though. Have read that the ZLs have excellent runtimes on low modes.

The Zebralight SC31 is an excellent light that will fit your needs nicely. 220 lumen otf with several lower programmable levels down to 0.5 lumen. Comes with a nice bezel down clip, and the button is naturally located on the side of the head. The other light that would fit your needs is the NiteCore EX11.2. 200 lumen high down to a low of 5 lumen and everything in between. A very nice bezel down clip is available for it. The Zebralight and NiteCore are two of my very favorite lights.

You can build your own with a Solarforce L2m and a 3-mode (no blinkies), .8-4.2v XP-G R5 dropin, for about $32 total, they claim 320 Lumens, 220 is more likely.
You can go even cheaper if you use an Ultrafire 501A host, cost is about $5, use the same P60 dropin. For your $120 budget you can keep one and give 5 away to your friends and family.
Runtime should be close to 1.5hrs on High

I don't think you would be disappointed with an HDS 120T. or Ex.This may even be a good time to hunt one down on the Market Place as a lot o members have upgraded to the latest model. I can't think of anything that, for the price, comes evenly remotely close.

The Zebralight SC60 or 60W. fall within your price range and are excellent 'lights, they do however require an 18650 cell. An excellent small light; again I don't think you would be unhappy. I love my Z/L SC60W.

Good Luck.

My single CR123 currently i have are ex11 v2, Jetbeam RRT-0 R5 and S2, Sunway M10 R5.

I found myself very comfortable using RRT-0 S2. Nothing beats infinite variable UI control ring UI IMHO, it's simple fast and one handed operation.

But if you dont want spend money on RRT-0, take a look at Sunway V10R. It is has similiar UI with RRT-0

Lumapower incendio v3 fills your requirements,I have one and i am very impressed.
350 lumens on rcr123s.
