heya!

i got my sunwayman m10R today in the mail. nice light, and nice UI!

weird thing though... it seems there is a gap between where the head meets the battery compartment. it bottoms out a tad bit early on the threaded body such that there's a small amount of space in between.

here's pics of the "official" M10R."

Hotlinked image replaced with link.

is this normal? i know it is a minor detail, but if it's abnormal, it'll drive me crazy. need M10R owners to weigh in.

thanks!

Do Not link directly to an image on the Sunwayman website! That is called "hotlinking"... it is bad form... and it is stealing bandwidth that doesn't belong to you and you don't have permission to use in that manner. Members caught hotlinking will be asked to remove the link if they cannot correct it. Members who continuously have to be asked not to hotlink will lose posting privileges.

i also got a reply from lighthound.com with concurring information:

"I have checked the rest of our stock and they are all like the one you received.

sorry about that hotlink in the earlier post, mod(s).

You can sand off a little on the top of the threads of the battery tube to close up the gap. Just do a little at a time and check it till you get the desired gap.
