Definitely interested if this light can approach 2x123 incandescent performance in brightness and throw.

McLux PR/917 LUX III on E2E body has already achieved this. It throws about as well or better than my E2E/MNO3 but not as well as the longer throw 2x123's. OTOH it runs at steady brightness for about 1.5hrs, while the incandescents start losing power after only a very few minutes.

Looks like a must have... I'm in too! So, is the Fraen optic the key or does it have good throw with just the reflector? I believe more beam shots are needed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Shoot put me down for another light I probably don't need but want. Can never have to many right?

Really looking forward to this light./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/popcorn.gif
Seems to have embodied all of what one wants in a rock solid housing.

What is happening with this light? I'm In between getting either this or the VIP. Is there a chance the super light will have a high and low power setting?

I too am waiting on the VIP. I thought this light was going to have a high/low setting... Think it was mentioned earlier..will have to look it up.

Thanks.

Yes, good news. The Luxeons have arrived and lights getting built. Last item, the carying case is being worked. Hang on, not much longer.....

Count me in for one....BTW any news on pricing? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/broke.gif

Kevin, you are killing me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I have money set aside for your light, you did not get any
of my money this year... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif, that's just not right.
no, seriously, this money is burning a hole in wherever I put it, can I give it to you now?
