Sure Fire Hurricaine Question

Greetings!

Would someone know if the Surefire Hurricaine battery pack has regular Duracells or the Ultra variety?

Also, does the structure of the box seem that the small lamp can be substituted for a
Nichia LED? Is the structure such that the lamp gets connected to all the cells at once, or one or two at a time?

I was thinking of getting one for the batteries and I would appreciate your input.

The 12B Hurricane comes with Duracell Ultras. The lamp it comes with uses 2 batteries at a time. I haven't tried it, but I think it'd probably work decently with an LED, but you'd have to work out an adapter I to make it fit.
