Do I send the body in now, or wait? Looking to have this back by the first week of October, is that likely? Thanks

Re: 18mm Bore Services: Surefire P and C series

i'll owe you $33 (6p + 9p) soon enough once I get my bodies in to send off to yall! :D

edit: not $33 lol. so $37 actually for the two bodies, or are they too heavy in the same box for first class?

Shipping is flat rate and is automatically calculated at check out (including speed upgrades).

Re: 18mm Bore Services: Surefire P and C series

This is a great service for those of us who have purchased Surefire products.

The fact that this thread has 26 pages and many pleased customers says to me that Surefire is not paying attention to their customers.

They cancelled production of everything we modify, so they responded to something!

I am sorry to read that Surefire reacted in such a manner.

They should have been greatful that their product was worthy of such modification and that their customers were willing to pay for the work.

I might as well have my other 6P bored as well, so:

borebatch - N24 - 6P - $15

This should bring my total to $52.

I didn't see a response regarding timeframes. Do you have a feel for the approx turnaround time on this batch? Thanks

Turnaround time (shipping in until shipping out) is generally about a month. 2 weeks for everyones parts to arrives + 2 weeks to process.

Start time is more varied. Batch N will not start until we get closer to 40 signups. Signups are down from 1-2 years ago and at the current sign up rate, suggests 3-4 months from now.

Pardon my newb status, but I'm still trying to figure out what options are available to me.
So my question is what goods and services are available for the SF M3 CombatLight?

As far as the boring service offered here, not much according to the first post (the relevant part of which I'll quote here):

The following models are not accepted for bore service:

Surefire M3 body

Surefire M3T body (same as the M3)
Surefire M4 body
Surefire U2 body
Surefire L6 body
Surefire 6Z body
Surefire 9Z body
Surefire 12Z body
Surefire M951

Tis a shame, the M3 is a sweet looking light.
