SureFire 8AX Commander\'s leather V36 holder

Using the SureFire 8AX Commander's leather V36 holder - how well does the auto retention system work ? Is it natural to use ergonomically ?

Is it limited to one mode of carry, like bezel down only, or whatever, and does the inability to lock-out the switch affect it when in the holder - anyone got any experiences ? Any LEO's use this system ?

Re: SureFire 8AX Commander\'s leather V36 holder

Umm, guys, is this a rare accessory ?
No answers from this board, (and only one on the SF board, where I also posted).

From what I've been told there, the internal retention feature is a spongy thing which holds the light, I think bezel up option only. And if carried on the rear of the belt, it can be switched on by the act of seating yourself in a car.

Well, if I buy the thing, and I'm inclined to, I'll post info about it when I get it.

Any other info gratefully recieved,

I have also found the forums to be rather quiet on the subject of holsters. I guess I have nothing to add either.
