Surefire 8NX & 9AN

I dug up a couple Surefires that I have not used in several years. Charged them up and was somewhat let down. Does anyone have suggestions for LED conversions that could possibly be done to upgrade these two lights to perform better. I just picked up a Fenix TK 11 R2 and really like it and it smokes my Surefires.

If you haven't used them in a couple of years, some of the disappointment could be from aged/dying rechargeable batteries.
