Sorry for my ignorance, is the older incan Surefire A2 Aviator have a clicky or twisty tailcap?

It's a 2-stage twisty.

It's a twisty. From the witness marks: 1/4 turn to switch on the LEDs, 1/2 turn past that turns on the main beam. Light press on the button gets you momentary LED, full press gives main beam momentary.
