I just bought a 6P LED and G2 LED. I was looking for clickie switches for both as well as holsters.

I can't seem to find the answers to a few questions. The pictures and descriptions on Surefire's website don't make it clear enough. Maybe someone can help me.

What are the differences between the Z58 and Z59 tailcaps?

What are the differences between the V20 and V21 holsters?

Why are the V20 and V21 holsters incompatible with the Z49 tailcap?

Any answers anyone can provide would be very helpful.
Thanks.

The Z58 is HA, the Z59 Black. They lack the rubber shroud of the Z48(HA) and Z49(BK). And Z48/49's have a larger outer diameter than the Z58/59's.

The V20 has a "sew closed" belt loop, the V21 has the "quick disconnect velcro" belt loop. HTH.

(info is from the back pages of the 2006 Tactical catalog, so I can't swear to it's accuracy, but I believe my answers are correct)

dang, second time today I'm posting this picture. Z58 on upper light, Z48 on lower light.

Due to the Z48/Z49 TailCaps being thicker and longer than the standard Z41 TailCap some holsters and pouches may not be able to accommodate this.

The Z48/Z49/SW02 Clickie TailCaps have rubber shrouds that protect the switch and help prevent accidental activation and unintentional clicking. There is quite a bit of travel on the push button pressure switch before it latches (clicks) so to allow momentary use.

The Z58/Z59 Clickie TailCaps are the same (1") diameter as a standard SureFire Z41 LockOut TailCap and only a couple of millimetres longer.

Thanks, guys! That clears it up for me. One more little question. Why is the G2 LED rated at 12 hours useful runtime, and the 6P rated at only 11 hours? Aren't they essentially the same light just made of different materials?
