Surefire amazes me once again

Ten days ago, I called the Surefire facility in order to inquire about catalogues and see whether or not I could request one from them, despite being from Canada (wasn't too sure at the time if they'd mail up here as the website seems only geared for US catalogue orders). My local brick and mortar was out of stock and the Surefire employee I spoke to was very helpful and agreed to send up a catalogue to me for which I was very thankful. This was also the day of the power outage at the facility so amidst some jokes I was making about the situation I also added that any other reading material that Surefire had would also find itself a good home with me, but I really didn't expect much else from the catalogue which was already a big deal for me.

A parcel arrived in the mail today, with: the regular catalogue, tactical products catalogue, a 2007 wall calendar, and a Guns & Ammo: Surefire Presents Combat Tactics magazine!

I'm really floored at their generosity as I really didn't expect more than the reg catalogue, which I've come to cherish over the years. Suddenly I find myself with all this reading material and am really humbled by the company's willingness to do something extra nice for one of their customers.

I have had similar experiences years ago when ordering catalogs from US companies. They often sent extra bonus materials and brochures that surprised me!
Anyway, what's this 2007 wall calendar show for each month? Hmmm...

I have this thing about not looking ahead at calendar months (kinda like the surprise and its worked out well with the Sports Illustrated calendars I usually put up) so I can only tell you about Jan-Mar. March's shot is that of the infamous cave scene in which someone's using an M6 and a helmet light to brighten up a 100 million year old cave. Jan's pic is that of two soldiers with what are identified as being the classic universal weapon light, and dedicated shotgun forend. Feb, has a really nice shot of a X200 presumably driving nails through a 2 x 4.

Like I said, a complete surprise and am happy as hell to have received it.
