I really want to buy one of these, but don't really use incans... I don't want to hijack your thread, but has anyone with one of these awesome looking turboheads tried one with a single XM-L dropin of any sort? I can find beamshots of XR-Es but nothing else... It won't be of much use to me unless it improves the beam quality of LED dropins. Thanks! 😀

I have one and it makes a donut (dark hole) with the XML - I have a domeless sst90 and that works well, not amazingly better but the head is the best one out there for cooling all be it quite big.
I will keep mine for two reasons, some day an led might come out that will work well in this baby or I hope someone could build a drop in that has the same angle as the original Incan drop in so the two reflectors match angles to make it a real thrower. Any body?....
