surefire E1E upgrades/mods?

What are some of the common or not so common upgrades are there for a surefire E1E or E1L flashlights. I was trying to figure out which one was easier to mod the incandesant one or the LED one? Im planning on buying then modding and this will help with my choice. I would like maybe a regulated pill or something along the lines of that. I dont know much so any info would be much appreciated! Thank you for the help.

The easiest incan mod would be this LF bulb and this AW battery.
I have done this mod and though runtime is short, it really kicks out some nice incan lumens.

Easy LED drop-in for the E1E here.
