Surefire E1W and E2W-BY Winelights: How Many Were Made?

I just purchased a matched set of: E1W-BY Winelight and E2W-BY Winelight II. I wanted to find out how many of these beauties were made, if anyone knows? I did a few searches and found references to them being offered back in '04 and '05.

I'd like to find out if they truly are rare/semi-rare (which is what they seem to be). If so, I'm not a collector. If not, I may end up using them in a few mods.😗

they wern't too rare, I don't have a number, but I know quite a few people bought them... (they were for sale through several dealers and SF themselves) mod em up!
