Help Support CPF:

gah, I hate threads like this... my blood starts to boil every time I read anything about the TSA.

They should rename the esteemed organization SNAFU just for accuracy's sake.

Well, my blood is already boiling thinking about past experience with TSA and their "employees". The organization should be renamed TSB--Thievin' Sons a Bitches.

I wouldn't chance losing the E2DL. When I do fly, I carry the Novatac 120T and that went fine as carryon and even withstood the scrutiny of a "randomized" thorough search at US customs. ymmv

However, I might only lug the Fenix SS LD01 now when traveling because it is so tiny.

happy lighting. :candle:

Hey this is kinda OT but I didnt feel the need to start a new thread. What about a light(s) going on a cruise ship? And it would be going off amd on at every port too? And for Rechargeable 17670's would you suggest packing those away with the charger in the checked luggage or try to carry on(For a plane)?

Hmm...this is really off-topic, but I wonder what would happen if you traced a GPS-tagged light back to some TSA's house...

You could probably rig something into a larger flashlight that transmits its location and is powered off of the light's batteries...if they didn't know better they wouldn't open it up and it'd never stop transmitting; if the batteries die the thief would change them to get the light back (unless they self-discharged...)
