Hi

I bought e2l and got error head, looks like L2 with 5W. Don't know what to do with it. What is the output of this head? Will sell.

You scored, guy! Plop-in a couple protected rechargeable LI-ion cells from https://www.jsburlys.com/shop/ and it will best an L4!!!! The 5W will be overdriven on the Li-ions and I've seen one report of failure, but SF's warranty is "gold."

Edit: And welcome to CPF!

Unfortunately this is not what I am looking for. I needed something simple with around 30 lum of light. It would be a killer light for me with 500ma upconverter.

FX67,

I suggest you offer a trade in BST (Buy/Sell/Trade) for a "stock" E2L in new condition. I don't think it will last long!

Just run regular 123as if you want close to 30 lumens. It shouldn't be too far off.
