Surefire, Finally!

With the L.E.D. Drive going on here at CPF, and the lights to be given away are the Cree Surefires, does this give an indication as to the availability of the new lights? Do we know what day the new lights will be shipping?

Estimated dates are late July for the L1, E1L, E2L, and sometime in August for the G2L and 6PL. The L5 is on indefinite hold. Surefire generally refrains from giving an exact date on when their lights will come out.

I guess the 3 Cree Surefires being raffled off are indication that they are just around the corner, but nothing really else.

I can say shape is identical with current E1L except the flat lens.
Only difference is flat lens and marked 'KX1' on the head.

Beam is round spot with very weak & wide side spill. It looks less than 300mA to the LED. :thinking:

I got this one, PK logo marked, July 1 from PK at the Surefir Fan Meeting in my country.
At that time I also saw New E1L, L1, P6L and G2L etc..
PK said SF will release the 'Drop in Module using SSC P4' for P6 and G2.

The style of the KX1 is the same as the KL1 but it is possible to tell them apart.
