Surefire finishes - GM vs SG

I have a E1-GM head, and it's a got a hint of blue in the finish. Is the SG more "neutral" or does it also have a similar blue tint to it?

Same finish, different name. I believe the name was changed because people don't think it looks like gun metal.

I tend to see a deeper blue/purple in some lighting conditions.
