Surefire Finishes

Hi, Im new to all of this. Sure looks like you folks have this flashlight stuff down.
Hope someone can give me some pointers.
I am looking to get a Surefire E2E or E2, (can't decide which). and am confused about the finishes available.
Some dealer told me the HA finish in the E2E is a green/gray and not available in a flat black. I was looking around ebay and thought I saw one in flat black HA.
The same dealer told me that the E2 comes in the HA in flat black.
What are my options?
What are the colors?
Also which light is better?

You can still get E2's in HA at LPS. They're on sale in fact.

It will cost a lot. We need to order 1000s to get custom color. You can still find blue,purple,navy 6Ps...

yea, i found a source for purple and blue 6ps just yesterday...

purple was $89.95
light bluish was $79.95

is that a good deal...should i order?

SF makes:

Type3 A(green/gray),also known as HA
Type3 A(black)-only 9AN, also known as BlackHA
Type2 A(black)
Type2 A(gun metal/silver)
Type2 A(any color, as long as you can find it)
Camo is HA3, I think.

E2 HA3 are almost non-existant, Black type 2 are still available. E2 has been discontinued a while back, so it may be pretty hard to find one in HA3.

E2e comes in HA3gray and A2silver only. With silver finish, you will loose hex bezel and pyrex.

Pookie...here is a picture of the E1e with KL1 and the M6...my biggest & smallest Surefires.

They're both in HA-III.

It looks like HA Black. Could it be?
Did they make the E2 in HA Black?

That one is an E2e HA3 Natural Color, not black.
