It's time for me to order some new batteries for my surefire g2 and I was considering going to rechargeables. I would just like some input as to whether this would be an acceptable idea or not, as the wiki for battery compatibility is still down. I was looking at ordering the RCR123A's from batterystation, if not, I guess I will be going with their primary CR123A.

TIA

You'll blow the P60 with rechargeables. Either use primaries or you can get a different lamp assembly that will handle the extra voltage like a P90 or one of the lumens factory bulbs or equivalent.

You can even go the 3.7v route and use a single 17670 instead.
