Hey All,

First post on CPF, or a Flashlight related forum ever for that matter, not 100% on where this should go.

Recently purchased a G2 as a change in position meant more walking and being in crowds. My previous 'steed' was a 6D maglite, which served its purpose as a torch and other miscellaneous whacking, nudging, bumping and dinging, but when mounted on a belt it made me feel like I would need a knee reconstruction in the future (and pulling my pants up constantly was irking me).

So.. Enough about me, I am just after a basic belt holster/pouch that doesn't cost more than the flaslight did :duh2:, preferably one that seals the torch in. at the moment I have an open top one, which is fine if its under a few layers, but walking around a crowded room its all too easy for some kid to grab it.

Any recommendations?

Dave

You could try a genuine Surefire one. They make holsters for their lights in both nylon and leather.

Cheapest holster you can buy for the G2 ($1.77, free shipping) that will fit snug as a glove:

Get a Nylon Surefire brand holster. I can't remember the exact model number, V12 maybe? Anyways, it has a secure velcro flap and it is enclosed on the bottom. It is designed so as you sit down, you won't accidentally turn the light on. I have had mine for 4 years and wear it everyday and it is holding together really well.

Thanks Guys!

I have ordered the cheaper one ( I didn't see the ~$3 one, or would have got that one).

Compared to the AUD$35 cheapest option I could find, Compared with the amount of wear it was going to experience I would rather spend the $32 bucks on Batteries :twothumbs

Cheers

Dave

cool, i bought 2 of these aswell. free shipping rocks:twothumbs now i don't need to order other stuff i don't need to make up for shipping costs.

Wow! That's really cheap .
Any idea if a SF A2 would fit inside this ($1.77) holster?

The Specs on the holster show a height of 5.12in, Considering the A2 being 5.6in it won't win :mecry:

I'm new to both that great cheap site, and flashlights in general, there are quite a number of them for under the $5 mark though

it's open at the bottom, so lenght doesn't matter, as long as the bezel won't fall trough, because i believe it's thinner then most 2x CR123 flashlights. not sure about that though.
