This is the updated version of this: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=196461 light. I was able to get my hands on a few Aleph III bezels (Thanks Donn) and decided against the use of an E-C adaptor/ a C-M adaptor and and M3 bezel....too many parts being used and the Aleph III just looks better IMO. Heat sinking could certainly be improved, but I do not have a lathe. If anyone reading this wants to make a simple slug for this I will pay for your services-PM me for details:poke:

-Surefire L2 body (No engraving) with electronics removed.
-AMC7135 Driver-(Thanks darkzero)
-2-Stage tailcap
-Aleph III/ McR38 with enlarged hole for P7
-Tower module heatsink with tower removed
-Driver is in place of original

Very very nice! Me like! I've been waiting to see what you were going to use those drivers for. Well executed! If you need more just let me know, I can do how ever many AMC7135s you'd like.

Very nice mod! :twothumbs

:poke:I suppose you are using 1 Li-ion cell?
How much current are you pushing through the P7? :duh2:
Can you post a picture of the pill? :duck:
PM me about the heatsink. Maybe I can help you out.

Beamshots added---

This is a very nice sized flashlight considering how much light it puts out.
The Mcr38 is still the best reflector to work with the P7 that I have found.

A very fine light. The SSC P7 is forgiving with some reflectors, but it's always shocking amounts of light when it's driven to spec!
