SureFire-Lego, what works with what?

My SureFire collection has been growing slowly but steadily, and i'm now reaching the point of wondering what works with what

I have;
6P and G2, i know these parts are interchangable
A2 Aviator (white LED)
E1e
E1w Winelight
Vital Gear 2-cell body with E series incan head
spare E-series black HA head
E series twisty tailcap
Z57 clickie
McClickie in a McTC
McLux McR-20S

and on the way;
a KL-1 modded by ROC with a Seoul emitter (will be swapping the TIR with the McR reflector)
L1 Lumamax

I know that all the Executive series parts can be lego-ed together, and the VG body can accept any E-series head, but what about the L1, can the L1's head be used on an E series body, can the L1's 2 stage tailcap be used on an E series body?

i understand that the regulation circuitry is in the body of the light in the L1, as it is in the A2, can i put the A2 head on the L1 body or vice-versa?

Hmmm, pop in a RCR 123A in the L1, drop the A2 head on (if possible) and might i have an "A1"?

To my knowledge, the L1 and A2 parts, aside from the tailcap are not interchangeable. The L1 head should have the same threading as the KL1.

Okay then, how about the head from a L1 on an E1e body, i know it'd be running in direct-drive mode with no regulation, but would it *damage* anything in the L1 head?
