I can get probably get compete 300mw PGL-III green laser modules with lens assemblies from CNI, and have an idea to make a custom head around it. I can machine the head at my university's machine shop, and then add enough SF legos to make it work. It should be able to run on a single Pila 600S battery.
From left to right, the segments in my concept are, TID for SF M3, custom machined head, SF M2 body, SF SW02 tailcap. The bottom picture is the CNI PGLIII laser for comparison, speaking of which, we will have them in ~175mw outputs in stock in around 2 weeks.
