Yup, it does look very good comoared to the newer "big head" designs.
I use mine with a 16650. The day I got those cells I ran a test, high for almost 4 hours(output by then almost matching low mode) and low mode for 30 hours. By then the cells were above 3.6V.

Light looks just a bit dimmer on high with the lower voltage but hey, fantastic runtime.

Interesting - I can't say I've ever run those, but my give it a shot.

Been using AW lifep04 pretty much since 2009 - I like the stability.

Busted mine out tonight and I forgot how underrated the 15 lumen low is - it has got to be closer to 30 or 40.
