I've tried a few dealers with no luck so I thought I'd throw the question out here: Anyone now any online dealers that have the SureFire M6 in stock (preferably in the $300 range)?

-Mike

www.tacticalwarehouse.com

I am pretty sure Dan has some in stock. And they are the latest model(I know, couse I got one off him). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif

I'll try contacting www.lpstactical.

Dan/Tactical Warehous, Chris/Meridian, and LAPoliceGear are all out of stock. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mecry.gif

Seems to be a hard item to track down.

I think the Surefire convention going on in Iraq is sucking them all up /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I sure would like to have one of those M6s too. I've been giving it a lot of thought. And I would be willing to spend the money -- except that I just can't imagine a need for that much light. I rarely need as much as my Scorpion gives (which is an eighth of the intensity). Buying it would be like someone who never drives buying a Ferrari.

Of course I could buy an M6 and just look at it. Wouldn't have to turn it on. Would I?

Uh oh! I'm lost. What is a 9v? I can't find that Surefire makes such a model. Maybe you mean 9 volts -- 3 batteries? Maybe you're just funnun' with me? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Ah, yes. You know, I didn't question what the voltage across the bulb was. I'm learning every day. Thanks Size15s.

These are the readings that Brock's site lists for the M6:

SureFire M6 MN21 six SF123A's 6.1V 4.9A 29.9W
MN21 = 500Lu/20min

SureFire M6 MN20 six SF123A's 7.2V 2.45A 17.6W
MN20 = 250Lu/60min

Notice that the voltage drops when the cells are loaded

Well, lpstactical.com says they have it in stock, so I put in the order. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif Now I wait.

mvario - Please let us know what it's like to have an M6 in your hand and what you use it for. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
