Surefire made in Mexico?

I recently purchased an older 3P and the lamp was stamped "Made in Mexico" are all there lamps made there? Also does anyone know if and where lamps for the 3P can be purchased?

Well if the lamps for 1 model was, I'd assume all of them would be too, for reasons of cost - scales of economy...

Interesting to note, Ken Good/Strategoes' new range will have lamps made there too, perhaps there's a big magical lamp factory waiting to be discovered by the CPF retailing public...

Many of SF's LA's are manufactured by Carley, and many of these are made in Mexico including the the problematic LA's for the 8xx rechargeables.

Anyone know the name of this mysterious company in Mexico?, I could look it up and see what it offers. But it probably is a Maquiladora somewhere along the border.

JT, both my R30 lamps have the made in mexico on them. I have always liked the 3P it's a cool little light, what color did you get?
