Hello all

I just bought a Surefire Z2 from the classifieds and i recieved it today. Its my first SF light with a CombatGrip.

I was wondering if it was possible to buy a extra rubber ring or two to fit as spacers pushing the flared rubber ring further out, so it'll fit people like me with bigger hands.

I tried looking on Surefires site, but i couldnt find any Z2 styled rubber-rings, only the ones meant for the 6P, etc.

Id have no problem finding a suitable substitute, or even regular duct tape wrapped around the body to act as a spacer, but id prefer a SF ring to keep it looking good.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Try what Al said first...another option though, is to add an A19, all though that might make it too far up, but you could add the A19, and remove 1 or 2 of the extra rings on it. Your Z2 came with 3 rings, right?

The grip ring plus two spacer rings is standard for the Z2.
Some Classic Z-Series models (6Z, 9Z etc) had three spacer rings...

Do Eagletac rubber grip rings fit the SF Z2 and C2? I read somewhere that Solarforce clone rubber grip rings are low quality, soften, expand and get loose and slide up and down the body after a few months of use. I don't know if Eagletac's rings are for the same small tube size as the SF Z2 or if they fit a standard 1 inch diameter tube. Has anyone fitted their SF using Eagletac rubber grip rings?
