Surefire said:Choosing the right brand is not only a matter of achieving maximum performance, it's also the safest way to power your SureFire illumination tool. SureFire lithium batteries are engineered with quality control and built-in fault and heat protection that may not exist in lesser-known brands. To guarantee safe performance, SureFire recommends that you use SureFire-brand batteries-and that you never mix brands. Our engineers tested every major brand of 123A battery and selected the one with the best performance characteristics for high-drain devices like flashlights. Our batteries are manufactured by one of leading battery manufacturers in the world. And, because they're produced by the millions, we're able to pass these economies of scale on to you by offering SureFire batteries for an extremely competitive price
