Surefire X200 Cree?

Hi- longtime lurker here. I've searched and searched, but I'm not finding what I'm looking for.

I need your help. I have a Surefire X200, and this thing is way too dim to use as a weaponlight.

Can someone tell me how to make this brighter? Is there a "drop-in" unit that I can install? (Soldering irons scare me!) I've read DeFabricata's posts about modding his X200, and I feel comfortable in removing the bezel, but I don't want to solder anything.

Does anyone have any ideas, or have a modded light they'd like to swap me? (plus cash on my end, of course)

Sell it and buy an X300. But seriously ... way too dim? I've used the X200B for a year before the X300 and it was plenty bright when used as intended in CQB settings.

It's not that the light is "too dim", it's just not as bright as I would like it to be. I've got a half-dozen G2s with drop-in Crees, and they make this look like a mag solitaire.

Sell it fast because they are quickly becoming yesterday's news. There is no mod for this one available right now.
