I don't have any experience with the Surefire, but the TK11 is a good light. (not taking anything away from the Surefire, just saying)
BTW, they also have the updated TK11 which has the XP-G R5 emitter. Clicky

How about the older Z2 with an aftermarket pill? The thing about the Z2 is that you can customize with aftermarket parts till your hearts content. The Z2/6P series lights are the "Glock" or "AR15" of the light world.

If you don't mind spending the additional money I'd go with the Z2-S but the Fenix TK11 is a quality light too.

Indeed the Z2 would be a nice way to go. Since it shares the same parts as the C/Z/P series, you have lots of head/dropin/tailcap options to choose from.

If you do decide to go the TK 11, definitely get the R2 version. A friend of mines got the new R5 and compared to the R2, be believes the R5 to be much floody.
