Swiss Army Knives roll call.

About 134 for me including Wenger & Victorinox builds. With me now is a Cyber 34, Evo S52, Commander and a rare 82mm Wenger w/Commander tool set. Plus a cheap China knockoff of the 34. I have a hard time passing up a SAK at a garage / estate sale. Because of this I have a double of about 1/3 of the 134 "keepers".

The best one is the Victorinox Swiss Champ XXL. There is no Swiss Army Knife that is more versatile! :)

If you do not survive with the Victorinox Swiss Champ XXL than it is your personal fault!

I have three Spartans plus a few of the baby ones. My current EDC is the "Classic Alox" in red. When my father passed he had three of them. Coincidentally, I have two sisters so we got one each. I don't know the name of mine but its slightly fatter than the spartan. I keep it on my desk.

I also have a CK lookalike and a Wenger version.

This is the only Swiss Army knife I have, I bought it in 1983 and carried daily, whilst on duty, for 30 years.

I don't know the model name, one of the scales has cracked and the saw is slightly bent from use. It is also missing the spring on the scissors.

When I bought it was obviously pre the days of multitools being available.

Looks like a Huntsman. Newer ones have a little "parcel hook" next to the cork screw and a sewing eye on the awl - neither all that useful, for the most part.

The red Wenger is Much like the Camper and the White one is like a Spartan .
Why do I feel like I am missing a Wenger ? .............................
Anyways , one more Camper in the mail ( one hopes ) .

The economy , was my First ... late late 70's or very early 80 ...
Then came the spartan and after that the larger lock blade .. and lastly a hunter .
Several months ago I got another hunter , and now I dont know which is which ?
The first one from the 80's is in such minty condition .............. Oh dear !
The budget campers are the early versions , no pick or tweezers . ( Yeah I have 5 of them ) Some one in Oz had old stock and sold them at a very favorable price . The Lumberjacks were expensive .. I would love a Walker , but Walkers are even more expensive .

A few of mine:

Farmer (alox)

Hiker (Camper with a Philips instead of a cork screw - I like the ones with the cork screw better)

Huntsman (economy nylon scales)

Hunter (w/ locking main blade and small gutting blade)

All 4 have wood saws.

Some Vic paring knives (the yellow handled one on the top is a Wenger):
