swivel clip fever

After buying and using a swivel ball clip light, I've been hooked, but I don't want to buy another one because this one wore out too soon and is too heavy (with 3aaa's). Plastic clips just don't last.
Has anyone seen or made a swivel clip thing for an Arc aaa or Ultra infinity, which would make these lights beyond perfect?

I use a Stainless Steel miniclip from www.berkeleypoint.com and love it to death!

I second Saaby - those miniclips are super-tough, reliable and look gorgeous too (do I sound like an ad already?).

What's more they're available in natural(shiny), matte stainless steel or titanium (charcoal-ish grey).

If need a swivel to go with that, Berkeleypoint also has very nice ball-bearing versions made of brass (but matching silver finish).

Top notch quality stuff there!

I thought he meant a ball and socket type that allows you to clip it to a fixed object and aim the light in a set direction-
saw something similar to it for a minimag, but it only rotates in a single plane, not in a circular fashion.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Not exactly what you're looking for, but McGizmo made up a magnetic holder for a modified Inova X5. Take a look here and you may get one or two ideas for your own design.

If you haven't looked around McGizmo's links I encourage you to do so. It's full of clever, tasteful, and useful ideas.

Give us a little better idea of what you're looking for, and I'll bet we could help better. I don't have a good picture of what you're after. I have some clips here that are lobster claw on one end and a swivel D-ring on the other - but I'm not sure that's what you're getting at...

Ya, Dudes, I was talking about a Clipmate(clone). I can't even find a decent shirt clip or alligator clip; everything is either too big or too flimsy. And the pen style pocket clips are only fun if I want to look geeky at a campfire. I'm too old to walk around with a flashlight in my mouth.

Magnets, hmmm. That X5 McGizmo mod is inspirering.
