So, I went to the range today and had some fun.
100 yard range was busy so I used the 50 yard range.

The poor light
Amazingly, you can still tell what light it is.

The walls are fairly thick. I don't think other Fenix lights would have fared as well. The T-1 may not be perfect, but for a first try,it seems to be a damn good one.

Now how about an EMP test ?
Someone has to live close to a nuclear reactor

I bet the bullet would have gone through the light if you hit the center of the flashlight.

That's just amazing. Can't believe that friggin' SS bezel ring is still partially intact. I'll have to wait 'till tomorrow to see all the pics.


Gunner, this is the same light that I used for my testing. The driver died after Iforgethowmanyhundredsofdrops, plus some extra TLC.

It may stop a low power hand gun round but not a high power rifle round.

I used my Remington model 700 BDL. Round was a Remington 30.06 Springfield, 150 grain Nosler ballistic tip bullet that will left the muzzle at 2910 feet per second.

I am pritty sure the cells would have distorted leaked and been stuck in the tube. At least 4sevens can display it with pride or send it to The Led Museum for burial.

Thank you for your kind words. I will review the video tommorrow and let you know for sure. I downloaded some MPEG video editing software to trim off the long wait before the shot was taken so it would reduce the file size. I was able to get it to trim the video but it left out the audio. You can here the Department of Corrections unloading in the background. Would be sad if I couldn't upload it.
